What information do we collect?
SONY collects information or data as described below which may include personal information (collectively, the “Collected Data”) collected automatically related to your use of the Application.
- (ⅰ) Information about your device on which the Application is installed (the “Installed Device”) and component parts thereof:
- device ID which is to be allocated automatically and specifications/features (e.g. product type, memory/storage size, manufacturer name, and model name);
- Operating System and Operating System version;
- language code, country or region, time zone;
- operational status of your Installed Device and component part thereof (e.g. display); and
- IP address used by such Installed Device’s internet connection
- (ⅱ) Information about the Application:
- application ID;
- application version;
- technical and specification information regarding contents operated or managed via the Application (e.g. file size or codec of such contents);
- time stamp related to the usage of the Application on the installed PC; and
- information regarding the usage status and usage history of the Application on the installed PC.
- (ⅲ) Information about the device which is connected to the Installed Device and which is detected by or registered to the Application (namely, your audio product, media server and media renderer, collectively, “Related Device”):
- device ID or device name, specifications/features (e.g. serial number, memory/storage size, model name, manufacturer name and firmware version); and
- information regarding the usage status and usage history of such Related Device
The Collected Data collected automatically as described above will be uploaded with a unique number assigned to the devices on which the Application is installed and will allow SONY Group to distinguish the data received from the device from those received from other devices.

Who else has access to the Collected Data?
The Collected Data that is communicated to and stored by SONY may be made available to SONY Affiliates and to other third parties, as follows:

The Collected Data may be shared with and used by other SONY Affiliates for the purposes of pursuing the activities outlined in Section 3 above.
Third party service providers
SONY and SONY Affiliates may use third party service providers to process or analyze the Collected Data on their behalf for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
Business transfer
In the event that SONY or a SONY Affiliate sells or transfers a portion or all of its business, the Collected Data may be transferred by SONY or such SONY Affiliate to the purchasing or acquiring entity as part of the transaction.
